Just one day after the launching of the latest iPhone 4S, Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs died from pancreatic cancer at the age of 56. An untimely death of Apple’s co-founder and visionary who revolutionized modern culture and changed forever the world’s relationship to technology through the inventions of Apple gadgets (iDevices) such as iPhones, iPods and iPads.
A message from the board of directors in a written statement states:
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away. Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the sources of countless innovations that enrich and improved all our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”
Apple has also posted this note in their website regarding Steve’s passing:
In behalf of all the Apple fans, I would like to share my deepest condolence to the family of Steve Jobs. He truly is a genius and brilliant which he vaguely shared to everyone in the whole world. Thank you very much!
